Alonso's Story

Alonso Garza, a student at the Universidad Panamericana, joined the ecosystem through the Author × AI MMXXVI cohort in Mexico City. He is building an AI back-office system for insurance brokers, beginning with a single tool: a retrieval-augmented assistant that lets a broker query hundreds of insurer policy documents (productos and condiciones generales) and get cited answers in seconds, rather than reading through hundreds of pages of PDFs by hand. His first user is the brokerage where his uncles work, and his roadmap from there includes renewal reminders, side-by-side quote comparison, and commission reconciliation. His instinct of building one function at a time, validating with a real broker, then expanding, anchors the project.
