Values with Which to Raise a Son — Part I

This video is not advice. It is reflection.

Becoming a father forces a confrontation with values—not the ones we claim, but the ones we live. In this first part, I reflect on the principles I believe matter most in raising a son: responsibility, emotional clarity, respect, restraint, and the courage to act with integrity even when no one is watching.

This is not about perfection or control. It is about presence. About understanding that what children absorb most is not instruction, but example.

This piece sits at the intersection of fatherhood and authorship: the quiet, daily choices through which values are transmitted long before they are named.

This is not a manifesto.

It is a starting point.
