Futuro MMXIX — Smithsonian Visit
Project authors engaged the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum during the Futuro MMXIX cycle in Washington, D.C., hosted by Emeritus Curator Dr. Peter L. Jakab.
Dr. Jakab — a four-decade curator and one of the world's foremost scholars on the Wright Brothers — convened the cohort for a conversation on creativity, invention, and how technical and aesthetic minds share a common visual imagination. The session connected each project author's Legacy Project to the longer historical record of how innovation actually emerges over time.
An on-the-record exchange now archived as Futuro MMXIX video material; an institutional point of reference for how BeNeXT thinks about heritage and innovation as collaborators rather than opposites.
